Yesterday I had to take Murph to the specialist to see if his paw needs surgery. (which it does, dang it!)
Anyway, we had to sign in. I had to put my last name, Murph's name, doctor we were seeing and time we arrived. I noticed the patient who'd signed in before us put their dog's name as Stinker Belle.
I thought, "Surely that has to be a joke. No one would really name their dog that, would they? Would you really walk around saying, 'Here, Stinker. Good girl, Stinker. Stinker, you're such a little stinker.'"
Anyway, we were still waiting in the lobby when Stinker Belle, accompanied by brother or sister either named Yogi Belle or Yogi Boo (I didn't quite catch the name), came out of their exam room to check out. Sure enough, the dog's real name was Stinker Belle.
Something only a pet parent could get away with naming their child...
