Stop smoking tip
Here is the best tip to stop smoking AND it costs nothing. I used it to stop smoking seven years ago and it worked for me.
When the urge strikes, (and it does, and often!), light up a cigarette and take one or two puffs. This will satisfy the brains need for nicotine. Then careful'ly put out the cigarette, ie. don't squash it. When the next urge comes, light up the same cigarette and just take one or two puffs. Put it out again. You'll get probably three to five uses out of a full cigarette. With this method, you are not going cold turkey which for some people is impossible, but are geting a small hit. However the increasingly rancid smell and flavor will eventually outweight the small pleasure you are getting from the nicotine hit. It helps if you leave the cigarette in a dirty ashtray. Sound revolting? It is, but smoking is revolting anyway so it's worth a try.
