We watched this last night. I am hoping more Milwaukee area stores will be educated as to which are fraudulent. Lots have stopped accepting internet coupons altogether.

It’s truly a shame that so many people are being hurt by this situation.

Geesh...there are enough good deals to be had using coupons properly...why do they have to be so greedy and make the fake ones...

Bud...nice to finally put a face to the name...

Seems like an easy solution would be requiring a box to enter username & store loyalty card # on printables for traceback, & a sign warning that any printables not from legitimate sites will be traced back, billed, & possibly criminally investigated.

That would then work at all the many stores that have loyalty cards.

When I get confronted by a no printables type Cashier, I sometimes quickly pull out my DL & say write my name & DL on the back if you don't trust it. That works about 1/2 the time (though 1/2 of that require manager approval).

I wouldn't want to make internet coupons specific to one store. I print the ones I need as soon as I find them, then wait for the store that has the best sale price - just like you do with the coupons from the newspaper. It just makes me mad that cashiers are starting to treat me like a criminal whenever I use a printed coupon - for $.50 off 10 yogurts! Like I'm going to go through the trouble to fake a coupon and save only 50 cents? Another case of greedy people ruining it for the rest of us. I really depend on internet coupons because our inserts are really bad!

Today I tried using two Stonyfield farm coupons (one for a free cup of yogurt and one for .50 off of three cups) that were printed off of their website and the cashier told me that the store was no longer accepting internet coupons... what a disappointment.... I hope I can find another store in town that will accept them, but I doubt it. Hopefully they will come up with some sort of solution that will allow us to use internet coupons again.... a few bad apples ruined it for all of us, I'm afraid.

What is that coupon generator I saw on SlickDeals? Is it legit? I kinda doubt this...
