Not jelly. Its gelatin (like Jello). We actually have some strawberry jello but its an off brand. Good luck! And if it turns out, and I helped.....do I get a piece sent to me when its done?

Jello is one of the brand names in the USA.
There are also store brands called gelatin.
Same thing.

Jello Cake?

Bake a white cake as directed in 9 by 13 pan.
Cool.

Poke holes in the top of the cake.

Mix large box of strawberry flavored Jello w/ the 2 cups boiling water, then 2 cups cool water.

Pour Jello over cake.

Refrigerate until set.

Top w/ Cool Whip.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This is a two layer version photo:

It's just strawberry jelly, you can make your own or just buy the little blocks you disolve.

Samual, I think the terms
Jello,
gelatin,
and jelly/jam/fruit preserves
are different for you acrossed the seas,
than USA names for the foods.

Yet, they all taste the same, even with different names!

Like a peanut butter & jellyl sandwich (PBJ):

Here is something you'll recognize from England:
Jelly Jar and spoon in Old Country Roses

I borrowed this photo.

(When my sons are out of college, I plan to get a complete set of this china!)

This is Sams far better looking other half by the way

Thats a jam pot, which aren't used in England, we don't do peanut butter and jam sandwiches either, I think the whole peanut butter and jam must just be an American thing.

Jello doesn't exist, it's jelly
Jam and preserve are pretty much the same, only preserve contains more fruit and less sugar.
Gelatin, is gelatin.
