Default Stretch marks...

Okay, I only got about 3 stretch marks on each hip with Mikey, but this pregnancy is totally different!! I am carrying this baby alot lower then I carried Mikey, so I'm not sure if that is why. I have gotten stetch marks along my lower belly with this one. They aren't real dark yet, but I still have a while to go (hopefully!!), and I figure they'll get worse. I've only gained 5 pounds more with this pregnancy then I did with Mikey, so I don't think it has to do with that. Anyway, does anyone know any little "secrets" or "remedies" that I could try to prevent the stretch marks I've already gotten from getting worse, and to hopefully get them to fade once the baby is born???

Well, there are all sorts of products that are suppose to help, but stretch marks are caused by the deeper tissue stretching which causes a breakage for lack of a better word. So nothing will help except good genes. They will fade after time and I heard that the medicine called mederma works well. It's expensive like 25 bucks for this little tube.

OH...stay AWAY from the cocoa butter! The skin absorbs it and cocoa butter can cause a rapid irregular beat in the fetus. I think it's the caffiene in the cocoa butter. Anyway this lady on the July board on PS ended up in L&D with a baby with a rapid and irregular beat. They told her to quit using it.
