Summer is officially here!!!
Its the kids first day out of school here and I got talked into going to the Dollar Tree today to pick up water balloons so that the kids could have a water balloon fight. It has since turned into a hose fight. They are having a blast!!!
If anyone needs a cooling off idea, I strongly recommend water balloons. Even the 2 year old got involved!!!
Bring on the summer!!!

Oh fun! I'm glad the kids had a blast.
I'm already sunburnt. And what's funny is its mostly my left side. I'm such a hoosier.

here in PA, the kids got out last friday (13th) and dont go back until usually first week in sept! I know they go to school a full 180 days, although they schdeule 190, for snow days (unlike this year, where it was days off for the heat!!)
They also get (grade-high schools) about 10-14 days for holiday vacation, a week for spring break, and a whole bunch of other in between holidays. I know pretty much every other country goes to school a lot more days then the US
