Default Sun Tea

Not sure where to ask this but I guess this is as gooda place as any...

Is there an art to making sun tea? I remember when I was little my aunt used to make sun tea and it was sooooo good. Now that we've moved to our new house and it's been warmer out I've been trying to make it but it always taste bitter. First I was using 5 tea bags, then I used 3 but it still tasted bitter. I tryed adding sugar to it while it was sitting on the deck or maybe I am leaving it in the sun too long.

Anyways...I would love any tips or help. I never thought it was rocket science to make tea but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

TIA
