[wanna be a young mother]

My sister is turning 16 years old in June!

I'm like freaking out! I can't believe she is already going to start driving.

Anyway my mom & I were trying to come up with something to do for her birthday. My other sister (yes there are a lot of us lol) is about to graduate 8th grade and turns 15 in Aug. So my mom was think about having a combo 15th/grad/16th party for them but I think its a bad idea since they are two different things. I think she should have Caitlyn's 15th b-day and grad party together this summer and have Jessica's sweet 16 in June. So my mom and I are at odds about this.

So what do you think? Should we have two seperate or a combo party? Also do any of you have ideas for the party? For Jessica's 16th we were going to have a pool party here at my house but we may be re-building by then. Any ideas??

My mom doesn't want to spend like crazy either if she has to do two partys b/c then she has my other sister Madison's 5th b-day party in Oct. So sort of cheap ideas anyone?

I'll get back to you with ideas but I too think that it would be a good idea to have separate parties...Each celebration is quite significant...at any other time I would say a combo party would be a great idea but I think each should stand on its own for your sisters...I don't think it would increase the expense any by having separate celebrations especially if they are a couple of months apart...Plus it will allow each girl to feel extra special and perhaps have a say in what gets done on those days with out having to fight over ideas or compromise with the other sister...I will see if I can come up with some fun and memorable ideas Jenn...no promises though!!!
