Default Swimmers Ear....let the games begin

It is going to be a LONG summer I think. I just got back from the Ped with DD#1 with her 1st (of many I'm sure) case of swimmers ear for this season. The poor kid had it in both ears, the left worse then the right. It started to turn into an infection so she had to get an antibiotic too. She has such a high tolerance of pain that it didn't even bother her (nor did she tell me about it) until the infection set in.

Now she can't go underwater or get water into either ear until she gets rechecked on Tuesday. Of course, the heat and humidly is rolling back in so she can't even fully enjoy the pool.

Once we get this cleared up we have to put alcohol in her ears after every swim to minimize (not eliminate) the risk of her getting re-infected.
