Symptoms or Side Effects?
I'm on 1500MG of Metformin a day, and a vit. That's all I take.
My BB's have been tender and sore for the past wk.
I've felt crampy and tender around where my uterus is.
Worn out and tired, even when I don't do anything major.
And, *sorry if TMI* if I don't wear a panty liner I feel as though I pee myself. It's not that though...
Could these be signs or side effects from the meds? Just wondering cause I really don't want to get my hopes up...
Oh yeah, AF is scheduled to show up on Monday.

I have no experience of metformin, BUT i did find a list of side effects on line
*Along with their useful effects all medicines can cause unwanted side effects, which usually improve as your body adjusts to the new medicine. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist if any of the following side effects continue or become troublesome.
Common side-effects
Hyperglycaemia or high blood sugar - The symptoms are excessive thirst, passing urine frequently, tiredness, weakness and lethargy. Urgent medical attention is needed if this occurs.
Feeling sick, being sick, diarrhoea, tummy pain This is the most common problem especially if high doses are given. It may get better after a few days of the tablets, when your body has adjusted to the medicine. If is doesn't improve speak to your doctor.
Important: If you experience an increased depth and rate of breathing causing dizziness, tingling of the fingers and toes or chest pain, stop taking this medicine and seek urgent medical advice. You may be suffering from a rare reaction to metformin called lactic acidosis.*
( sorry i dont know the coding for quoting)
Its doesnt sound like anything you have described, so it sounds to me like it could be symptoms, i have everything crossed for you, sending you all the babydust i can spare
((hugs))

Hey lady... I'm on the exact same dosage, and the doc told me that I could expect much more tender/sore bbs from the point of ovulation on...and that I would see MUCH more cervical mucus than before...and that yes, it would leave me running to the bathroom every 10 minutes thinking I'd wet myself...and this was my 2nd full month on Metformin, and I did indeed see those signs.
The tiredness, though, I'm not sure.
Good luck, and crossing my fingers hoping this is a sign of a bean sprouting

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm starting my 3rd month on it, but never had cm problem before... *lol* The DH finds it amusing, and giggles about it.
Thanks for all the baby dust and I hope so of it sticks. The main thing DD wants for Christmas is a Baby Brother... Couldn't make it easy on me this year. *lol*

lol...of course they couldn't make it easy.
Forgot to mention, he also told me and DH that we could kiss the even moods, light PMS grouchiness Me goodbye...I'd be having the mood swings i SHOULD have had alll along, and I'd also be crying and much more emotional as it took hold and set me up on a regulated cycle...
I cried all thru-out Ugly Betty and Private Practice this week...and I've yet to watch Grey's...whcih means I'll be pulling out the Kleenex again tomorrow when I watch it online lol...
BUT...At least I know it's working the way he said!!!
