Default Taking off his diaper

CeJay will be 2 on the 29th... Ever since Vinnie has started to use the potty, he will not keep his diaper on. I've tried him on the potty on several occasions, and he's interested, but you can tell he isn't ready. I've stood there with him for over 2 hours, and nothing. The second the diaper goes on, he pees. But now every time he is alone, off comes the diaper and he pees EVERYWHERE. It happens at every nap and bed time. Sometimes he will sneak off into his room and do it too. I've tried taping his diaper on, but he's a smart little guy and he wiggles right out of it. I've tried to take him to the potty every time I see him doing this, thinking he'd either get sick of going in there and keep it on, or just pee in there, a win win... but no. And with 2 other little ones, I don't have 3 hours to sit in the bathroom. He screams when he takes the diaper off and I try to put another one on. It's frustrating! Any advice? I'm getting sick of cleaning my carpets 3+ times a day! Not to mention the laundry that is building up! TIA!!

If he wants to use the potty and doesn't want a diaper, try a pull up. You can also let him wear underwear over the pull up like a "big boy." I understand what you are going through. My oldest was very defiant and would pee on the floor instead of the potty too.
I ended up taking away all of his toy trains and would return one each time he went in the potty. That worked with him.

Default taking off diaper

Get the Little Keeper Sleeper. NO safety pins, duct tape or putting sleepers on backwards. Don't put your child in a sleeper that doesn't fit correctly, especially around their neck. This company created the perfect sleeper that all parents of toddlers should have. See for yourself at www.littlekeepersleeper.com

I had this problem with my DD when we started training her. The pull ups that are sealed on the sides helped us out alot, so did the ones that got cold when she pee'ed. I can't remember which ones. I also did the big kid underwear for her... She didn't like to pee on herself so she quickly realized if she when to the potty and did her thing she would stay dry.
I wish you the best of luck!! I took us just under a year&half to fully potty train her.

Onsies under pants/short or sleeper worked for us. By the time she got the first layer off i would either get to her or she would give up
