I have a 2 1/2 year old that is talking back in baby talk or her own made up language. Has anyone come across this issue. We have taught her that she is not to talk back or scold, but now she is making up her language to get the last word in. We have been trying to break the habit in the same way we did when we would actually understand what she was saying to us. It is proving to be very difficult. Any ideas how to break this habit she is creating??? She is also now to the point where is has an excuse or explanantion for everything and why she did what she did.
