Default Teach Your Children Well!

As a work-at-home parent, I discovered what everyone was seeing as a challenge was actually a HUGE opportunity. I'm writing about balancing home life with kids and having an in-home office.

I suggest you meld the two. Now, I'm not saying you should have a 10-year-old answer business calls. I'm suggesting, though, that they get to see what you do for providing for their education, fun, food, electricity, etc. It is a great life lesson for them. Plus, if you're good and passionate about what you do, then that will rub off on them.

Just think of how many kids out there don't really even know what their parents do for a living. Don't sell your kids short....they understand so much more than we even know.

I'd love to hear some great stories from Moms who've let their kids into their day-to-day business lives.

In my last job, I got to telecommute for some of it...the data-entry part. My "office" is next to the living room-no wall between. Not only did the kids see what I was doing, but Jessica actually did some data entry for me
