Default Teaching to our kids about save, spend and share

Dear parents!

We all parents wish the best to our kids. I wish too. I wonder, is it good idea to teach them about money ? The basic concepts of finance like: saving, sharing and spending. I do feel in that way I can allow my kid to achieve his goal by himself without my too much effort. By this I dont mean that I want to raise my kid without effort. I'm just trying to imply that we make the decisions. What if we allow our kids to make a decision in their life at the age 5. Teach them how to spend, save and share. How to achieve his/her goal by saving the money that parents give to them.

I would like to share more opinions with you

Welcome to the board!

One of the goals for parents is for our children to learn about handling money.

This would also include a credit card, checking account & balancing it,
and actual cash in hand.

Kids receive money as gifts for their birthdays, Christmas, and other holidays.

Start a savings account early for each child.
