My husband and I took in a sixteen year old boy in November of 2006. He has never been in any real trouble. He does not drink or do drugs and he obeys all the rules we have set. He is even planning on going to college in two years. The problem is the county supervisor will not give him any freedom. He is not allowed to go places on his own or with any friends. In order to let him even go to a friend's house, we have to have the family checked out by Children's Services. We do not want to let him run wild. But we do think he should be allowed to hang out with a friend at the mall or go to the movies. Is it like this everywhere?
