Default teething baby

I have a 2 month old, darling little boy. He is currently in his teething stages and does nothing but chew on his hands to relax and sooth him. It would be nice if there was something out on the market, for instance, a teething mitten of some sort, that I could use for my baby. Does anyone know where I could find a hand mitten teether ?

I haven't heard of anything like that unfortunately. I have a 6 1/2 month old who started teething at 3 months. It's difficult when such a young baby starts teething since they don't have much control over their small motor skills. I did give my baby a dry wash cloth since other teething items were to hard for her and I was, like you, trying to help her stop sucking on her hands as they would get cold. This seemed to work.....Not only did the wash cloth help my daughter avoid sticking her hands in her mouth, it also soaked up all that drool! i hope this is helpful to you.

My son started teething early too.
A friend of mine gave me the most wonderful thing that soothed my son easily.
It is called a "fresh food feeder" and it is a great way to feed your child bananas, apples and other fresh foods without having to worry about them choking on chunks. It is perfectly sized to fit an ice cube into the basket and it was the ice cube that got my son through many hard teething days. You can get them inexpensively at Drugstore.com (link below).

Oh, yes! We use those teething tablets too - absolutely WONDERFUL how they help to calm and soothe while lessening the pain. I would recommend them to anyone.
