Thumbs up The Church in The News

I was wondering if any of you saw this article at all about how some of the Sisters are helping out those less fortunate. I think its great that there are positives shown to everyone about our Church. It has inspired me mention it to the RS president in my ward and see what we can do to help.

Thanks for the link to that article. I love it when I read about humanitarian efforts. My mom used to crochet leppar bandages.... she is the RS president right now, so she doesn't have as much extra time, but she has been a great example to me. There is always humanitarian work that needs to be done.

It is agreat way to help others. You can find more links at the church's website, and more information on what projects you can help with as well. http://www.lds.org/humanitarianservi...9,6208,00.html

The church does a lot of this through LDS philanthropies. You can read about it on the site. It is amazing how much we can do working together to help those who need it most.

Thanks for sharing.
