Default The color is lost

I'm not losing my hair, but I'm losing my color. I am turning grayer by the second. Is there anything short of hair dye to help? Is this about stress?

It could be stress. Then again, how old was your father when he went gray?

My family is notorious for going gray really early, so I was expecting it. It didn't get bad until I hit about 35. Since I wasn't ready to embrace the gray, I embrace the Natural Instincts hair color every couple of months. (I'm not ashamed, I'll admit it.)

If you don't want to color, you might try a tinted mousse to cover the gray. The best thing for a man to do is just embrace the gray. Guys have it easy anyway - they look "distinguished" in gray whereas women just look "old".

My mother was completely gray by the time she was 25. She started at 16. She had very fine jet black hair.
She dyed it for a number of years, but found that her hair was healthier if she let it go grey and took care of it with a rinse to keep it from yellowing.
A friend of hers went grey in streaks. As she got older, she just dyed around the streaks and let them get a little bigger, but not much. No one noticed that way. She also has black hair.
Maybe if you just touch up a part of it, no one will notice!

I've heard the "distinguished" thing for years. It might be true; I don't know. I'm just wondering if I'm going to wake up one day in the next year or so, look in the mirror and not recognize the guy looking back at me.

I'm going gray too and it's horrible I look like I have gray highlights, if mine gets any worse I am going to dye the grey areas as I really hate it.
