Red face The I Love You Milestone

I think this is one of the greatest... the first time you hear your kid say I love you. It's the best. I have twin boys and one of them tells me he loves me all day long, wants to be next to me always and give me hugs. The other one isn't so affectionate, although he can be cuddly when he is in the mood. I try and really make the time when they want a hug now (they are 2 years old) because I figure in 10 years, they won't want me hugging and kissing them!

You're right. The "I love you's" make up for the first time they say "I hate you". Ouch that one hurts.

My son is still too young for the "I love you", but he gives great hugs. And they say it all.

There are days when those hugs have to make up for a very sleepless night
