Default Master Cleanse Day 18 (tuesday)

TWO DAYS TO GO AND COUNTING!! YAY BRING ON THE FOOD!

i havent weighed myself in a few days now. id did this morning and i have put 1 kg on!!!! what the #~@*!!!! how the hell do you put weight on when you arent eating? last time i was 73.. today im 74 gosh weight gain before ive even finished is scary!! Alarm Bells !!!!!!!!!!

anyway my new clothes dont feel any different so im not too botherd as long as it doesnt continue! i had my salt water this mornig unfortunatley i didnt have my elemination till i got to work ..... dear me i do feel sorry for my collugues . work was fine. im still enjoying all the weight loss comments. i did feel rather parched all day though. ive also been reading up more on food combining... cant wait to try out these recepies!!! im going out to buy the ingredients tomorrow!! keep you posted.
thanks for the support 3andacat! its just really nice to be able to share our experiences . from what ive read prolonged use of lax tes is bad for you yeah but only if you use it for a ridiculous amount of time. also the lax tea is an integral part of the detox. you have have to do it at night and no pills , it has to be tea, then in the morning you can have the sea salt., its up to you babe.
well done on getting through day one fattybumbum!

good luck xxx marcia

apparently weight gain of 1-2 kg is normal even with a healthy lifestyle after the cleanse! yikes! i need to work hard to keep the flab off! keep you posted!

Wow, Marcia!
If you can use the same self-discipline after the clease as you have during it, you'll keep the weight off for sure. You're right, 10 stone would look awful on you. 11 stone will be a really healthy (and great looking weight) for your height. I'm so glad you've set realistic goals for yourself. You're doing so well!

Hi everybody. I'm hoping someone can help with advice regarding symptoms. It is my sister's second day on the cleanse and she is having difficulty functioning. She feels as though she is 'drunk' like her words are slurry and she feels very 'out of it'. Also, although she drinks the cleanse every 2 hours she feels as though she is dehydrated and has 'cotton mouth'. Has anyone had similar experiences?

This sounds like a serious blood sugar issue.
When was the last time she saw a doctor?

I'm not sure. We both tend to get shaky and out of it when we haven't had food for a while. So I guess her symptoms are not typical of the Clenase then?

This is just a stab in the dark, but do you happen to consume a lot of starchy carbohydrates when you eat? (Breads, cereals, potatoes, processed snacks, crackers, crisps, etc)

Yes. We are both definitely carb lovers. But we were wondering if it was more indicative of hypoglycemia (although I dont know much about it)

Yes. Hypoglycemics usually depend on a lot of carbs to get them through the day and often the condition isn't noticed until they see a doctor and have bloodwork done or they try something like this. Hypoglycemia is nothing to mess around with.

I'm no expert, but I'd say stop the fast and have yourselves tested ASAP.

Default Day 2

I feel shocking, but I have woken up with a sore throat so not too sure how much of this crappy feeling is a result of the detox and how much is how I would feel anyway with whatever bug I seem to have cought. My head is booming and I've really struggled at work today. I had a massage booked for tonight and I've even cancelled that! I'm going to get to bed and have an early night. I actually feel like I could vomit too I hope this feeling doesnt last too long! I'll keep going, I'm on a mission to get into UK size 10 clothes again (my 12's are starting to get a little tight at the minute). I can see this being a loooong week!
