Cool Day 2 Progress

Weighed in at 179 (lost 1 pound but that’s not what this is about)
Drank 32oz salt water and drank 1 cup of “Smooth Move” Tea (I definitely recommend going with the Chocolate variety on this tea as the regular version tastes like really bad licorice.)
Had a bit of a headache – most likely from the Caffeine withdrawal so I had 1 Pot of Green Tea made with 2 Green Tea bags.
Hunger kicked in again so I had ˝ a protein bar and saved the rest for later (I had the second half around mid-day. Took all of my vitamins.
Drank 4 liters of water with soluble fiber & lemon juice.
Drank one pot of tea made with one tea bag of Weightless Tea (also made by Traditional Medicinals.
Drank 1 cup of “Smooth Move” before bedtime.

Energy levels stayed up and pretty constant all day but I was working on a full eight hours of sleep which is a lot of sleep for me!

Default Cleansing

Hi. ..My cousin and I are starting the Master Cleanse on Saturday and I will report daily. I do want to cleanse my system, but I am also trying to lose weight. I wanted to do this before I started my 6 week body makeover. We are going to do it for 7 days and see how it goes, and if it is ok, then we will do the other 7 days. I am excited, but I was interested in knowing if I should wait to work out at the gym? I have hired a personal trainer, and he is just waiting on me. Do I need to give it a few days first? This is why we are starting on Saturday,just in case I will live in the restroom the entire weekend (). Any suggestions???

Default i am a bit nervous

Something has to give, its getting old being this big! My neighbor and good friend came by yesterday to eat dinner filled with ceaser salad and crab legs with garlic butter and lemon we were both sitting there feeling awful but delighted at the same time, about eating the way we did. She told me about the Lemonade diet Beyonce used to do the movie. I immediatey started to do research on the issue. I have not read the book, only seen material regarding the cleansing it offers. Now, I have the 1 cup recipe and the gallon. Both my neighbor and I are starting Monday. I work from home most days so I will keep you all posted..I want to take merida appetite suppressant while on this...I am so used to eating I need a change in my life, I am praying for my friend and myself to get thru this successfully, I am going on a ski trip in 3 weeks. this would be the confidence booster I need to keep up the pace and welcome a different liftsyle...So now its official I have a moral obligation to the worldwide web and my fellow bloggers to follow thru! I look forward the challenge, We need your support!

I worked out the first time I did it and it was great. It did speed weight loss and the workouts also helped alleviate the hunger (you'll be hungry for the first 3 days and then hunger shuts down). Just make sure you drink plenty of water!

Actually, the crab legs and salad are an awesome meal for someone trying to lose weight. Nice job!

Good luck on the cleanse and please let us know how it works for you.

Default Day 3 Progress: Ready for the Beach

Weighed in at 178.

Feeling good and beginning the South Beach diet plan now.

Hi Madifat...I don't know if you have ever heard of Michael Thurmond 6 week body makeover, but it is definitely worth looking into. The website is provida.com. You eat 6 meals a day, and there is a 6 day makeover as well. He is the trainer from Extreme Makeover. This is a jumpstart for me, but mostly a jump start for a healthy me....We are all going to do well...!!! Tomorrow is my day...so wish me luck...and I will post everyday!!!!!!

right i couldnt find anyone to join me!!it might make it a bit harder but im ready to do this!

i had my senna laxative tea last night. it didnt taste as bad as i thought it would. i had a pig out all week as a way of saying goodbye to junk food lol. so i was very bloated when i drank the tea! i felt excited about starting the detox in the morning.

it was very cold this morning i was dreading the sea salt mixture.... i was a bit concerned i didnt have any bowel movements all night after the laxative tea. maybe the tea isnt strong enough......
finally worked up the nerve to mix two tablespoons of sea salt and one liter of water...

i only managed to drink 700ml! its awful!!!!!! i gagged with every sip!... if this doesnt get the bowels moving nothing will!

nothiing happened for two hours.. then woosh it all caming 'gushing out' what a relief! i could still feel that it wasnt quite finished.. i just crossed my fingers that tesco wasnt busy today lol. i had another visit to the loo 3.5 hours later.

had 2 galsses of the dyrup drink in the morning 2 in the afternoon. started feeling rather hungry.. until then i was fine...but i think it was more of a need to chew something out of boredom rather than the need to eat.

im having my evening glas of syrup drink as i type... ive bearly touched it because i put tooo much cayenne pepper and its HOT!!! cant be bothered making more. i will have my laxative tea before bed hopefully i can keep being strong.

WHOAH! That's TOO MUCH salt! You'll kill yourself with that ratio! 2 TEASPOONS salt to 32 ounces of water. You're putting three times the amount of salt in there that you should!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! thank you sooooooooooo much!!!!! i had another 2 tablespoons today!!! omg im starting to panic now! should i stop..i actually logged on to find out if it was ok just to have laxative tea rather than sea salt cos i just couldnt hack it!! oh i knew it was too good to be true!!!
