The new neighbors are rude
I live in a townhouse. There are four units in each townhouse. We are one of the end units. They moved into the other end.
First, I'm not sure how many people live there because there are teenage boys who have friends coming and going, but there's three cars they keep parked in the back parking lot most of the time. There are 8 spots for 8 units, and I know they got the memo that they can only have one car back there. Out front there's only one side of the street we can park on, which we share with the neighbors in the th's across the street. So three cars, plus all the cars their friends drive over-it presents a small problem. The other neighbors who have to park half a block down the street, walk to their houses, call the landlords and bother them, then walk another half a block to bring the car to its proper space in the back-to put it subtly, are a little peeved.
Their children are playing with a ball near my dd, who is on OUR patio just cruisin in her walker, came close to hitting her a few times, so I ask them to play further away. They get their big bad momma to come over and tell me that they are in the yard, which as far as she knows is not owned by me. I said yes, but that parking spot is and I better never see your car parked there again. That was yesterday.
Today, they overfill the ENTIRE dumpster, five seconds after it is emptied by the county, with YARD WASTE. Twigs and branches and leaves are certainly more important that seven other townhouses trash.
I also noticed they are planning a big party this weekend. They had to have hauled at least 4 kegs worth of beer and like 8 bags of ice and things into the house earlier. I'm all for parties, but as rude as they have been so far, I don't think it'll be fun for the neighbors.
*sigh*
