My Aunt and Uncle tried for a very very long time to have children. They are in their early 40's now, and have been trying to get pregnant since they got married when they were 25. The miscarried triplets twice ((they were using all kinds of fertility drugs)), and then my aunt found out that the rest of her eggs were all damaged, and it was highly unlikely for them to ever conceive. Well, after a long time waiting to adopt, they FINALLY adopted to twin boys. They were born March 28th of this year. They had a tiny struggle in the NICU because they were born 4 weeks early , but now are home and are completely fine. My Aunt quit her job when they found out about the twins, so that she could be a SAHM. Yesterday, I found out that after being employed with the company for 23 years, my Uncle got laid off. I just feel sooo terrible for them. They finally got the children they wanted for so long, and not even a year after they arrive, he loses his job. Right before the holidays!! Ooo... stupid economy... It just makes me so angry...
