Yes, you know what I mean.
Work, play, eat, sleep, normal routine until you hit the figurative bump in the road.
We have the same stress as most of you - teens, household things, family (we help care for my elderly parents). You know, usual stuff. We cope. Life goes on.
Lately things have just been breaking down. Or breaking.
Remember recently - the central air (brand new one, couldn't be fixed),
microwave (new one),
my computer (couldn't be fixed new one),
and DS#2's car last week. Got new brakes.
We do not normally have car issues.
(I am not mentioning no vacation this summer due to DH's job. 1st time in 26 years. The IL Govenor has yet to sign the state budget due last May, 07.)
*********
The brakes are what broke the camel's back on Sunday and Monday.
David had to get things going to return to his apt at college for his senior year. Ok, we are cool....got the brakes. He's good to go for Monday.
Except Sunday, car started making the same exact noise that the new brakes were to fix.
Monday back to the car shop. Trip #2. They claim the new brakes are good. Need new tires. It's the tires that have a problem.
DS#2 went to his very first college class on Monday! Woo Hoo! BMOC! Class lasted 10 minutes. (

!)
Monday PM, get the car back from the shop for the 2nd time.
DS#1 and I drove to finalize some school stuff he needed.
Grrrrrr! Making the same dang noise for the 3rd time now.
I was fired up and gave the car repair manager (calmly) a piece of my mind this morning.
Now, you know that I don't have that much mind left to give at this point.
DH & DS#1 took the car for a 3rd trip, but to a different repair
shop.
In the meantime, DS#1 did not get to go to college Monday night as planned. His car is in the shop for the 3rd trip. DH took 1/2 day off work to take DS#1 back to college. He got home about an hour ago and is exhausted.
All because the dang repair people cannot do their job correctly the 1st time. We do not normally have car issues.
I guess that I'd rather be angry at the car repair people,
than crying because DS#1 is back at school.
I miss him.
When did he grow up?
I've said this before.
