Default Those who used the heartbeat cous /monitor and those who use expired cvs cous ! READ!

I talked to my fav shift supervisor today and she was told that they got a call from loss prevention over the use of expired cvs coupons. They were told not to take any expired cvs coupons even the ones from the register. My guess is the heartbeat cous triggered it. Even though the managers have stated that they will accept them now they are saying they will not take them. This has only happened at one store for me so i am not sure if it is all. Somehow tho i don't think it was the register because that store has always accepted them, i think it was the heartbeat cous that's the reason. Again the managers said they will accept them but loss prevention is telling them Not to take them. this is probably one of the reasons why onewhildchild got blocked when she tried to use them the last time. Apparently the call came from the Regional manager who instructed the District manager not to accept.

I didnt do the deal with the Heartbeat coupon cause they always beeped anyway. But, some of the Ultra Mini coupons expired 4/30 and I figured thats way too old to try. Maybe those, also, brought attention to it. They are for 30 and would be adjusted to 19.99. Who knows. I think they didnt mind taking something week or 2 old, because it would still go in with the bundles of coupons with same dates, but that big and that old would cause attention...
Also, I wonder which is true. Always figured that they sent in their coupons to be redeemed the regular way, separated and going to each redemption house for issuer, but somewhere someone said that coupons are sent in bulk and paid off that way. Kinda like 'per pound' and averaged. Doesnt make too much sense, but then there are soo many being used now.....

My asst. manager told me that they process them out of the country. He said they sit there for a week or so and then go to some other CVS location(think regional) and then they are sent out of the country for processing. That's how I found out that mine will take expired regular coupons.
