Does anyone else have this problem? My toes go numb after running for a little while. I don't think my shoes are too small, but I guess they could be. I've tried to make sure that I'm not tying my shoes too tight as well. Any insight?

Gosh, I don't know about that one. I'd maybe try a bigger sized shoe...if that does not work...you should probably tell your family doctor. Just to be safe. I know that when I get off of the treadmill I get dizzy. Pretty crazy.
you may need a "squishier" insole... that would be the technical term ! I know that when I run my heel takes a beating and it makes my arches hurt and my toes go numb, but a good foam insole usually helps.
I suggest that you invest in a pair of good running shoes. If there is a specialist running shop near you pop along for some professional advice. Numb toes must be a sign of trouble - so please stop until you sort the problem out!
Someone has the same problem as me!! I don't know whether to feel happy or sad.
I bought some good running shoes in a pro shop, so they fit right and are the right size. When I used to run, the toes on my right foot and sometimes left went numb after I ran for a little while. It got so bad it was flat uncomfortable if not dangerous to run (balance is affected). That, plus bad knees has put me on the sidelines as far as running is concerned.
For me, it may be some kind of circulation problem - that kind of thing runs in the family. I have no clue what to do for it. Wish I did.
Go see a foot doc if your insurance will cover it. I have always had the same problem it's because of my arch. A insert should fix the problem but it's best if you have one that really fits your foot because inserts aren't one size fits all!
Have you had your running style tested? The sports shop near me does fittings where they monitor your running on a treadmill - some people's feet roll inward while they run, others roll out (I think the term is 'supronate', and 'pronate', if I remember right), and you can get shoes that will support the parts of your feet required to make sure that your running technique is good.
I'm not sure if toes going numb would be a part of that, but it's a good place to start.
That's funny you mention your toes going numb after running... A couple of girls and I were actually talking about that the other day at the gym. It seems to happen to a lot of people. WEIRD! I assume I probably needed bigger or better sneakers.
