He sounds like Jaecy...do you add water to any of his juice? For a long time i could get away with half water half juice (usually even more water then juice) lately she knows instantly if there is any water in it! So i add ice, then she doesnt care because she usually drinks it fast so she can eat the ice haha

Gabe gets juice 3 or 4 days a week and then its usually half and half with water. He only likes to drink Juicy Juice watermelon juice. He particular about his cereal too. It can only be mixed with water or he won't eat it. I'm sure as he gets older (just 7 1/2 months right now) he'll get more juice more regularly.

All doctors and dentists tell you that here, as a lot of children end up without front teeth due to juice and squash. The boys both have juice in water, only a little bit though, so we use more like a cordial than a half and half. Drinking a lot of fruit juice can give you bladder infections too.

we're terrible with juice, but like others have said -- she won't drink much else. she will drink a cup of milk at night and if i'm lucky one in the day. but that's it. very rarely can we get away with straight water. i tried giving her nothing but milk for a few days, but she would hold out until it was around bedtime to drink it. definitely got dehydrated, we do dilute it 50/50, i figure that's better than dehydration.

Emma's pediatrician encourages juice, but even more strongly encourages juice half diluted with water still, even at her age. Emma gets one sippy of non-diluted V8 VFusion everyday to make sure she gets her veggies in and her fruits as well (although, she LOVES fruit anyway)! You're fine... Except sometimes it can make them constipated to give them too much.

Kate is weird and won't drink juice..even if I dilute it. She'll only take milk (which she calls num-a-num) or water (she calls wat-y) I drink Juicy Juice...usually only once a day. I tried to get juice in her cause she refuses fruits and veggies...it's not working. Nothing is working.

No juice here. Tiffany only drinks water. No milk either. Just water.
Too many kids get too many calories from juice and milk.
I am not worried about obesity, but I figure water is the best.....no sugar, no empty calories, no added hormones (milk) She eats a ton of fruits and veggies, so water will do the job.
