Hi- As a Christian, I longed to read some adoption books that focused on the Christian perspective of adoption with the adoptee in mind. I have searched high and low for over a decade and these are the books I have found and read and have enjoyed! I know there are other great ones, please share!
I have read many very good secular books on adoption also but wanted to share the Christian books I found,enjoyed reading and treasured..

I'm so glad you posted these! I have only found one or two adoption books at our Christian bookstore. I'm going to order some of these when I can.

Thanks Shef and Anna for sharing some other adoption books you have read and hope others will check those out. There are many great books out there but often if they don't reach the "best sellers list" or get alot of press, they are not found. Hope others will share books they have found! Does anyone know of any other birth father's stories, books besides "Out of the Shadow, Birth fathers stories by Mary Martin Mason or
Birth Fathers and their Adoption Experiences?? Any magazine articles you have read or stories on the net?

one by Lee Ezell , it was pretty good ! She's very strong !
If I had been raped, I don't know how I would have handled
it ! I have to say---I'm against abortion =unless it is for medical,
health reasons, for the mother ! (The book was in my church

I met Lee Ezell when she spoke to a small group in Illinois. She is an incredible woman and in recent years she lost her dear husband. She has a website: www.leeezell.com where you can see where she is speaking and her books and resources. She also has a video out called The Missing Piece which shows she and her daughter in reunion.
I believe that video can also be found used on sites like amazon.com or half.com or other book dealers that sell used books and videos.

Hi Jody! We just attended an adoption conference this past weekend hosted by Chosen International, a Christian adoption support group for teen adoptees & their families. Stephanie Fast, an adoptee, was one of the speakers. She is a strong Christian who has several bible study series on DVD http://www.stephaniefast.org/products.html through her website. Chosen International also had copies of her life story on CD that are available by contacting Chosen International through their website link removed by admin There are also adoption bible studies/resources through Chosen's website.
