Default Toys that call the child back to play

There are a lot of toys for pre-schoolers and toddlers that call the child back to play with it. Do you think it is a marketing gimmick or something that increases a child's attention span? Do you like those toys? How often does your child actually go back to it?

Hello and welcome to families. In all honestly a toddler does not have a huge attention span at all. I bet your kids were this exact way when they were little too. My children at this age find/found the simplest things to play with. We quit spending money on expensive toys as they usually rather play with the box! lol.

From a developmental point of view. Children at this age were/are not meant to be glued to a toy for any amount of time. This is not how they learn.
