Exclamation trouble breathing

I've noticed the past two days that I have had a lot of trouble breathing. it feels like there is a weight on my chest and I am having a hard time catching my breathe. It kept me up all night and it's bothered me all day. Baby is also not moving nearly as much today and my ankles were swollen. I am not sure what to do. My ob's office is closed and the only place to reach them is the hospital. i was just in l &d on Monday because I fell on ice, so I don't want to make a big deal on it if its nothing. advice???

Are there any Doctors on call at your Dr's office?
I'd get that checked out asap.

I did go into L & D last night and was there for about 3 hours. They said the baby is big and is crowding my lungs and that is why I am having trouble breathing. They said that it happens to everyone. I am short so they said I would notice it more. Once the baby drops they said it would go away, so until then I will just deal with it!

Glad to hear everything is okay...I remember having to sleep propped up with pillows some nights and also the lazy boy became my 2nd bed....Do you use a regular pillow or body pillow under your belly and sleep on your side...that may help too if you aren't already doing that...Hope you can get more comfortable soon!!!
