Question TurboJam??...

Hi Everyone! I am recently coming back to the forum life. I have't been here since I was prego, however I have a question- Has anyone tried the TurboJam workout routines?? I ordered them about a month ago, and did them for about two weeks- but then became discouraged. I know its sad....i have issues. I was just wondering if anyone has done these and can offer me words of encouragement it would mean so much. I need to get back into the swing of it, but I just can't find the motivation.....sigh........

I have the turbo jam dvd's as well however I don't have the room in my house to do them at this time. I did however find a turbo kick class (same thing)that is instructed by a lady that lost 50lbs doing turbo jam and healthy diet, then became certified to teach others....I was taking this class twice a week (we are on summer break until september 2nd).
What I experienced from it....
When I first started out I thought...ok this is hard but not thaaat hard. Trust me...the longer you stick with it the better workout it becomes. The last couple classes there were 2 new girls that came....they didn't even break a sweat. You know why....because they didn't know the moves well enough to MOVE IT like you do after doing it a couple weeks.
Some of the moves were kinda high impact for me (bad ankle do to a sprain + 100lbs overweight) but the instructor just showed me a version that is less impact.
I had MUCH more energy, and felt more trimmed and toned.
SO I say start doing it again even if it's just 3 times a week would be great. If you are giving it your all....you'll fall in love with it!
I can't wait for September 2nd when my classes start back up!!!!

I have the Turbo Jam DVDs...sitting on my shelf collecting dust...they are okay but I got bored with them quickly. There are other things I would so much rather do, like take classes at the gym, ride my bike outside, etc. If I can't get to the gym they are okay in a pinch, but not my favorite. And I felt like they were awfully expensive for what you get.
