I am taking a psychology course in college about twins and my assignment is to interview mothers of twins about their experiences. I would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to answer these questions:
1) How old are your twins? When were they born?
2) Do you have identical or fraternal twins?
3) Are they same sex twins (and if so, are they girls or boys?) or do you have a girl and a boy?
About your pregnancy:
4) When did you find out you were having twins?
5) Do twins run in your family? If so, on mother’s side or father’s side?
If yes to above, are they same sex (boy or girl?) or boy and girl?
6) Did you have any fertility treatments?
7) What kind of pregnancy did you have? easy, difficult?

How long was your labor when you delivered?
9) How far apart were your twins born?
About your twins:
10) Were you able to tell your babies apart easily at first? If so, how did you tell them apart?
11) Did you ever feel confused about which twin was which?
12) Do your twins have similar or different personalities?
13) What are their personalities like?
14) Did you dress your twins alike? If so, for how long?
15) If your twins no longer dress alike, at what age did you decide to start dressing them differently? Any particular reason? (Ex. Did the twins want to dress differently or did you decide?)
16) If twins are school age, did you want them to be together in classes or in different classes? Any particular reason for your decision?
17) If they were in the same classes, how many years (and what grades)?

What was the hardest thing you remember about raising your twins?
19) Based on your experiences, do you have any advice for pregnant mothers of twins on what to expect or what to do to make things easier for them?
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions.
