Yes, multiples can be born naturally HOWEVER, it depends on the skill of your birth team. Many OB's & some MW have lost the skill and rely a lot on technology. Some care providers will do it if both babies are head down, others are quite comfortable breech births. Ask around. I know several ladies who birthed twins some in hospitals but most at home with a midwife...some of the births had both babies head down, some had it where one baby was breech, others both babies were born breech. It all depends on the SKILL of the care provider. I know my MW has been doing multiples & breech births for decades now but she has learned the art of doing so. My advice, do your homework. If a natural birth is what you want, find someone who is skilled & willing to do it.
