So im just gonna post here since Kaydee is close enough to 3, and Jaecy is almost 5...


With that being said my kids are HUGE....way to tall for their age...its drives me crazy when Kaydee has a tantrum and parents look at me like I should be doing more...she's still 2, not 5 like you assume. I know I should ignore it, but sometimes its hard to over-look the looks im getting...

Jaecy is the size of the other 7-8 yr olds she plays with...and I think because of her height (and maturity for her age) she is way to advanced for her own good.

Two yo tantrums are something we've all lived through.

One thing that may help - if people close-by are giving you 'the look', you comfort the child & say outloud to your daughter, "It's tough being only 2 years old!"
I used it a time or two when my DS#2 was large for his age.

You're a good Mom and I know this too shall pass. (Wait until they hit the teenaged years!)

they are so big! i do the same thing angie said "it's tough being 2 isn't it?" although, i get the stares regardless since i always have 2 kids and tow and look like i'm a sophmore in high school. you're doing a great job momma

haha yes actually Amber last night i was walking around with them down in New Hope (its a cute area with lots of little shops and such) and this man walked by me, shook his head and said "So young..." under his breathe. I know i LOOK 16 but im almost 26!!


And thats a good idea, saying her age out loud so people stop giving me evil eye lol thanks ladies <3
