so it's been a bit & so much is going on.
pregnancy is going well, quite similiar to DD in that it pretty much doesn't phase me. only issue i'm having issues staying hydrated, although that's easy to do in this record high texas heat! i've had to really limit picking up izzy, but she's seems to understand somehow. she started kissing my belly. we haven't sat her down and explained everything to her, so it's strange to me that she seems to know! she's been more interested in babies since my belly popped out too.
DH has been working a ton. the money's nice, not that we're making a lot but we are making our bills -- something we've been unable to do since he lost his job back east in january. he has this weekend off, but he's off to Dallas as apart of his job with computer graphics. so he's not REALLY off, which means i still haven't gotten a day off yet either. i'm thankful DH is able to work, and that we're able to make it, but i really need a day to myself. we used to be able to go to MIL's and let his little sister & izabell play, but this past weekend i went to check on them, only to find his little sister helping DD into the pool!!!

i got to them just as izzy was on the 2nd step. i freaked, and so did DH. needless to say, no more playdates.
my neice is doing much much better in regards to eating. she was admitted to AI Dupont, children's hospital, a few weeks ago (luckily, i was home at the time). so my sister finally heard from doctors other than her pediatrician. reese was on a feeding tube for a few days and her weight gain went through the roof. as it turns out, whatever function it is that makes food go down your esophogus or air down your trachea, isn't functioning properly. the doctors have given my sister something to mix into her breastmilk which makes it very thick & gelly -- like honey. with that substance mixed in, Reese is able to eat normally without a tube. it's a blessing.
unfortunately we found out when she was in the children's hospital that her heart isn't functioning properly. it's been an agonizing 2 weeks for my sister, and today we learned that Reese will need a cathedar inserted into her heart next week. once they do that, they will schedule a surgery to close her heart murmur and work on her pulmonary artery which isn't functioning correctly.
sorry this is so long!
