Just wanted to let you all know that we went and saw my FIL Bob yesterday and he is looking and feeling better (apparently he had been looking rather gray and was in a great deal of pain) and is in much better spirits (amazing what a little pain management can do for a person...they can focus on healing and getting better!!!) ...Not 100% certain what exactly was causing all his pain but he doesn't have a broken rib...he has been started on a lite dose of chemo...They did discover that his white blood cell count was low..which seems to make sense...he does have a blood cancer...when we visited we had to wear masks and not have any physical contact with him other than be able to "shake" his socked foot!! He was waiting to be moved to a larger hospital that is a little further from home but still not too far...I guess once his white blood cell count is higher he will be allowed to go home and then carry on his regime of chemo as planned...Anyway, just wanted to keep you all up to date...I told him there were lots of people thinking about him and praying for him and he said thank you....He was talking about future goals and plans which is a very +ve sign that his spirits have lifted and is in a better frame of mind to beat this thing!!! Thank you all for your continued support...we all greatly appreciate it!!!
