Well I do still linger around here lol. I just have issues getting on at work still but thats because of my old computer. When I'm at home, I'm often not on the computer cause my dad is. Oh well.
Well my brothers wedding is in 2 weeks on saturday! Its come around so fast. I' have to say I've not really enjoyed being a bridesmaid that much so far. My sil to be said one thing and then changed her mind again, and it got annoying. I know its her perogative to and it is her wedding, it just irritates me. What also irritated me was that she went out shopping on the day I had surgery on my knee to look for dresses with her maid of honor and they picked them out then and there. the dress is pretty but not what I would have picked. Its practically a gown, with a short train on it. And its long (which Im okay with) but its more than likely going to be hot. So $280 later I have a dress that I cannot wear again... you reaaallllyyy can't just"shorten it and wear it again" lol. Oh yeah and just to get the freakin thing hemmed was $90!!! Unbelievable how much they charge! But still it will all be over in just over 2 weeks and she'll be back to normal after that. I hope.

My knee is great... had my final appts for it last week. Its been nearly a year since I busted the ligament! Times gone so quick.

As for work... I feel like I need to do something else. My plan was to be an au pair overseas for a while, so thats what I was going to do next year. But its my dad's 50th in August and my parents 25th weddign anniversary in September. So I wanted to be back for both of those. But... in the States, the au pair agencies I was looking at only do year long stays, or a 3 month one over the full summer, which would mean that I wouldn tbe back in time. GAH! I just want to get away. I feel so un-fulfilled at my job now. The work is just so boring, people are great but Im bored. So if anyone has any ideas for somethin to do next year that would be great!
I did just get back from a holiday to QLD- specifically the Gold COast. Its sort of like California I guess, I've never been. But to compare to something thats probably the closest. There are theme parks and beaches, lovely weather. I also went to one of the islands in the Whitsundays.. that was so relaxing!

So I think thats it... just quickly though to all of you who've been praying for Cleo.. great news!! I'll post another update tomorrow- I left the email at home and its not in my inbox anymore.
