Default Update on the girls

Kaydee is getting big way to fast! She is all grown up it seems and way to fast! She will be 22 mos at the end of this month and is already just about done with potty training. She loves wearing panties and HATES putting the diaper on for bed. I would leave it off but she still pees through the diaper every night so i know she isnt quite ready yet

She can also count to 10 all by herself, sings the ABCs straight through, and knows a TON of songs on the radio (Boom boom pow by the BEPs is her favorite) She is starting pre school (day care type) Sept 8th I cant believe how fast time is going!!

Jaeclyn got bumped up to pre-K a year early...this means if she does well enough she will start kindergarten next year....scary thought! Not sure how I feel about it just yet, Im jsut gonna wait and see what happens. Last year she was bored out of her mind in the pre school class, so instead of making her bored and irritated again they decided to just bump her up. Her sassy attitude is getting a pinch better now that she is closer to 4, but we stillhave our issues. The other day I asked her to clean up the cereal she had spilled to the floor and she said back "Princess's dont clean cereal!" With a HUGE attitude i may add....didnt go over well with mommy!!

Im still having HUGE issues with Kayd's aggression towards other kids. She actually beat a little girl up on the playground the other day...she punched her in the face about 4 times and pinched her little cheek so hard it was all red. All because the little girl tried to play with the same toy (big enough for both of them i might add) I dont know where she is getting this from, but its scary to watch. Its like her eyes glaze over, her cheeks turn bright red and she just goes crazy! Any ideas? She has a drs apt today so Im going to bring it up there as well.....

miss you guys!!!!!!

Some kids do think they are boxers, everything you have said in the past about Kaydee sounds completely normal, so if I was you I wouldn't be worried about any serious developmental issues. Mikey was a hitter, then he met his match and play school. Do you think putting some pants over her bedtime nappy will make her a bit happier about it?

Four is a good age for getting rid of attitude, Jaeclyn will realise that bargaining gets her places.

we do put the panties over the diaper and it makes a HUGE difference! She just hates laying down to actually have the diaper put on but doesnt bother with it once its there. Thanks for the reassuring words...i hope she meets her match one day she is the big bully :/

Your babies are growing up! I hope Jaeclyn likes school. I think I will cry the day I send Ellamae off to Kindergarten.

Kaydee is a few months older than Ellamae so I always know what I have to look forward too! But I think we are far from potty training.

What is it with diapers? Ellamae screams the whole time I change her and will NOT lay still! It's like they are afraid they are going to miss something in the 2 min it takes to change a diaper.

Ellamae is a slapper, especially to me. Her favorite words are, Mine & No! She did the why? for awhile but not lately.

Ellamae likes her ABC's too but is NOT very good at it. We have tub letters and one day during her bath she hands me the B and says "B" I was ecstatic, woo hoo I have a genius for a baby! Then she hands me an R and says "B" then she hands me another letter and says "B"! When we sing the ABC song she jibber jabbers most of it but shouts out the letters she can say.

Ellamae tries to count also, but all that comes out is "two", she holds up two fingers and says "two". Maybe because I am ALWAYS telling her "take just one" and I hold up one finger.
Ellamae loves music too, she just loves to dance and turn in circles. She is crazy!

She sounds a lot like Jaecy Kaydee has her older sister to sit and teach her all the numbers and letters...i must say i can take NO credit for her knowing so much...All her big sis haha

how are you liking this age? I think i like it most of the time...the things that come out of her mouth are incredible...like singing boom boom pow lol...she also like the one" nanana nanana hey hey hey goodbye" song...that one she walks around singing all day

I love this age! Of course I don't like the tantrums or that attitude she gets sometimes. But I love watching her experience things. Kids at this age enjoy every aspect of life. They love animals, bugs, music, books, etc. They enjoy things that we as adults have forgotten to enjoy.

She wears me out though. She goes to bed at 10pm and is up between 6 and 7am. And she only naps for about 1 1/2 hours. From the moment she wakes up it is "shoes...bye bye...go" She runs like a mad woman ALL DAY LONG. Last night around 9:30pm she found her swim suit “on…bye bye...on” Try explaining to a toddler that it is TOO late to go swimming! She was not happy with me.

She is climbing on everything! She has figured out how to get up onto everything in the house. I will be busy doing something and then hear “mommy, mommy…down, DOWN” They I have to go rescue her b/c she has gotten up somewhere and can’t get down.

Kaydee is such a big girl. She's only got a few months on Gabriel in age and he still thinks the potty is a tool to get rid of remotes and telephones. Congrats to Jaeclyn for getting bumped up.

Ellamae and Gabriel have one thing in common . . . . the climbing. He's up on the back of the couch all the time playing with the dimmer switch. He just mastered climbing down the stairs. (He's known how to climb up them since right before he could crawl.) He goes backwards. I think he needs a set of rear views mirrors to do it without stretching his neck so much.

I should probably write a massive update on my boys soon too. Thanks for the inspiration, Rhianna. Gods know I could use it.
