Have you run the name to DH??? I know how it is with men so Picky and think that every name is somthing they will get picked on their whole life... lol Comeon did Dick Tracey ever get made fun of ALL his life?? I think he became pretty famous!!
Too true! Whenever I tell df a name I like I always get "That's too girly!"
He likes Tim but not Timothy and Tom but not Thomas. Hopefully I don't have two boys someday and end up with Tim and Tom!

We had the same problem. We could agree on girl names, and no boy names. When the tech told us we were having a boy, we sat there waiting for the doctor half stunned. Everyone had us convinced that I was going to have a girl. DH picked David- for his father and my grandfather. Alexander just sounded good with David. That's how our little guy got his name.
Hey Ragan, just an idea... have you guys come up with a middle name yet? If you're trying to be different you could do like Jade or Cori or something.... We try to be different with names too, just things we haven't reallly heard that much, if we have a girl she's going to be Skylar Michelle... I dunno I read your posts and I was like hmmmm and tried to come up with one syllable names that aren't so common.
