i know this is a very long story but i would appreciate some advice. Thank you.

I am a 21 yr male living with his mother. I'm ready to move out and be on my own but its a little complicated. My mother has a mental illness but she is functional in society ( I'm not sure what she has). She can walk, talk, interact with no problem. It's just sometimes she might ramble along incoherently in stress full situations ( and she had a insomnia for a little bit).

Any ways I moved back in with my mother after the place with my father fell through. At first everything was going good I had a part time job, but not really contributing to much to the house hold ( i had paid for cable for a few months but that's about it). I lost that job and it was kinda hard for me to find a new one.

Meanwhile my mother was making due with section 8 ( claiming 4 kids and actually im the only one living with her) and a disability check that she gets for her glaucoma. And everything is going well bills got somewhat paid. ( she wouldn't pay the full balance just enough to get keep the lights and gas on). Then she got the idea that she should go to jamaica ( her homeland) and visit some family. She saved up money ( that was supposed to be for bills) and went twice also send a barrel full up food and gifts for them down there when we need it up here. The second time she went down there border control calls us as says basically " she has no family down here and first time she came here she had to stay the night at a strangers house because the place where she was visiting no one lived there AND that she slept at the bus station because no one came to pick her up"

*takes a deep breath*

So all the money she spent for the jamaica trip was all for not. and bills finally caught up to her. Light goes off. Gas goes off. DIsability checks go away. Rent gets increased.

At this time i get a new job paying 9 dollars an hour. So i start helping out as much as i can. I turn the lights back on and I save up 800 dollars for a down payment on a new place but since she wasn't paying this rent i had to use it on that. So right no here is all that im paying a month.

Rent: 500 (its really 761)
Car insurance 120
light 50-80 bucks
cell phone 55
section 8 cost 156 (whole nother story)

and that's not including gas and food.

and im doing it all by my self. Helping out my mother. I don't think my mother sees it that way because she is allways asking " andre give me some money, andre let me borrow the car ( that she won't put gas in, andre turn the gas on ( the section 8 people said that we don't have to turn on the gas as long as the lights stay on)"

IM BEING STRETCHED WAY TO THIN!!!!!!!!!

and plus my father sleeps in my car every night cause he as no where to live but that's a WHOLE NOT HER STORY.

There are some positives.

My mother is in the process of getting a school bus driver job. (which her processing fee i have to pay for) but if she gets it its a load and a half off my back.

and I'm in the process of getting a new job paying me 4 bucks more an hour.

Now what i want to do with this new job that i could get ( or even the old job that i still have is"

Go to school, move to a new city/state and start over, LIVE ON MY OWN WITH MY OWN PROBLEMS.

but i don't want to just abandon my mother who is milking me dry.

I plan to try my best as stick it out until i see what this new job for her pans out to be but if this falls through im seriously thinking about wiping my hands clean of the situation and moving on.

I'm not b*tching and moaning because i know other people have there own **** to deal with but i just want to be in the a situation where the only **** i have to deal with is cause by me.

some one please help me out.............Im dying here
