Valentine's Day Plans - Any Roaks?
Valentine's Day is in 4 days
and counting down.
Are you going to do any ROAKS for
your friends, family, neighbors, or strangers?
For fun, the night before VD, I have gotten helium mylar red heart balloons
and tied them on to the mail boxes up and down the street.
They wave & wiggle, telling everybody, "Happy Valentine's Day!"
Have also passed out candy at work to co-workers and staff members. I do try to be cognitive that some people are
diabetic or on special diets and have some diabetic candy too
for them. Don't want to ruin somebody's New Year's resolutions
or good healthy intentions.
I heard that Bobbie was going to bake her parents cupcakes and make cards for her friends. Shhhhhh - don't tell her Mom!
Spread a little sunshine.
Make somebody smile.
What will you do?

I got the twins each a little Valentines day puzzle from Hallmark, they enjoy putting them together, and it is a nice little gift to tell them I love them, got them a few packs of gum each and a little hard filled with mini m&m's...made cute little bags for them and they will receive those on Thursday...they are 4 so it will be a special little suprise. I got my husband a MP3 player since we both started working out, I have one, he doesn't. So I put a bunch of songs on there, I have it set so the first song he hears is our wedding song...not that it is something he will work out to, but it is something special letting him know I love him and am thinking of him.
The kids and I made cards this year and mailed them out to all their Grandparents, sending a little love their way too!
Last year at work I bought all the ladies (work with a bunch of woman) a little clear vase I found at the dollar store, and then bought them each a daisy, they were on sale for $1 a piece...so for a total of $20 I brought a little smile to each of them.
I also make little Valentine gift bags for my nephews...as they are getting older it gets harder, but I just put their favo candies in a bag and write them a special note, as well as send cards to my sisters and brother
I love holidays, all of them...Hallmark or not!

We are doing nothing. I got my DH a card and a shirt. I found the card on the floor and he hasn't wore the shirt yet.
I don't think he'll be doing anything.
Oh well.
I feel like Eeyore.

I don't know if this counts or not but DD#1 has tutoring after school tomorrow. We just baked some valentines cookies for the teacher since she has to stay late on Valentines Day.
