This Sunday will be my very first Mother's Day!

I am going to my aunt's for dinner.

Anyone else celebrating their first Mother's Day this weekend? Do you have any special plans?

My youngest is helping me around the house and yard tomorrow, saturday. My oldest will meet up with us at church. We will go to the restaurant of my choice, and then spend some time together - I'll probably put the older boy to work, too.

You are to be congratulated. The first mothers day is very special.

Tonight is the FFA Banquet for DS#2 - I found out at 6:30 AM this morning.
The backhoe came again today from the city to fix the driveway
and the cement truck comes tomorrow to pour the cement.
(This was from last Nov when the watermain broke in our yard and driveway,
so it is the city's responsibility to fix. Why wait until 1 week before hs graduation?)

Tomorrow is lunch w/ my parents, and one sister, then
a Mother-Daughter Tea reception.
I think DS#1 is due home from college for the summer
on Sat...or early Sunday.

Sunday we are going out to dinner as a family.

Like McMama above,
I am hoping between Sat & Sun that the boys will plant some spring flowers for me.
The daffodils are gone, tulips have just a few late buds left.
And the yard needs to be in shipshape before next weekend w/
graduation for DS#2.

I guess you could say this is my first Mothers Day to be!! This time next year I will have a 4 month old!

This Mothers Day dh and I are telling our parents that we are having a baby!
