Default Very Sad News - Prayers Appreciated

My dear friends,
we have had very sad news in our family. At the bottom of my siggie, I have always put my family, including my elderly parents for the past four years. They moved closeby so that I could help care as they became elderly with associated health concerns.

Last August 25, 2009 my sweet mother passed onto be with Jesus.
On Saturday, June 26, 2010 my dear father went to be with Jesus and my mother.

While he had health concerns, this was totally unexpected. We found the new health
condition/diagnosis at 100pm and were told only about 24 hours left in this world.
Dad passed on at 0710pm, just over 6 hours later. He had a peaceful passing, without pain, surrounded by loving family, 2 ministers with hymns and prayers.
We know that our sweet mother was right beside him and what a comfort
to know they are once again together.

The following day was to have been their 62nd wedding anniversary and
Dad really missed Mom. This way they spent the 62nd anniversary in heaven
together.

3 days of funerals and receptions, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Appreciate any good wishes and prayers for the coming days.

Thank you for all your loving support!

Angie

You certainly have my prayers and sympathy.

Somehow no matter how old we are there is nothing like losing a parent. No one will ever love us quite the same way, know us quite as well, or wish for our success in the same way as our parents.

I know my mother was my greatest cheerleader and believed in me in a way no one else ever could and though she was very sick and had lost a lot of her mental alertness when she died , I was still "her baby". It leaves a hole in your life that no one else can quite fill. '

God Bless and keep your family!

I am so sorry for your loss. It is difficult to lose a loved one, but both parents in less than a year is really tough.
I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I am sitting here in tears, as I right this. What got me was when you said that they spent their 62nd anniversry together in heaven. How sweet. What a place to celebrate right?
I will be praying. Hugs to you.

A love that spanned 62 years is an inspiration. I know your loss is inconsolable and for that I am so sorry. Please know what you shared inspired me in my own troubled relationship. To love someone so much you can't celebrate another milestone without them. What a beautiful way to pass... i have goosebumps thinking of that kind of love.
