Default Novartis deal is awesome on Sat 10/27

The Nov. rebate book begins Fri 10/26. In it is $2 off Theraflu and $2 off triaminic. If you use them w/ man. cpns 10/27 while theraflu and triaminic are on sale w/ cash rewards deal, its a money maker.

Which they had last year when the Novartis cash rewards ran and you could roll the $10 cash reward on your next purchase and still get the next $10. That was awesome!

But Oct. 2007 book didn't have the ES coupon which meant I'd actually be PAYiNG something for ds's triaminic this year!!! A horrible thought after making $2-6 each order last year. But the Walgreens deal was the best on Triaminic for the previous 2 years, so I thought, OK $1 bottle for $7 medicine is tolerable. I used 6 of my 10 $3/2 Triaminic mfc this week.

Then tonight the cashier tells me that I can use the new Nov cpns immediately since the book begins 10/26!!! I got 3 orders of Triaminic MUCH cheaper than my orders earlier in the week. Kinda sickening to think of the extra $24 I missed out on! My store even had plenty left! Ugh...oh well. W/ the extra made tonight w/ the ES$2 triaminic, I almost evened out between the 6 orders for free. I'm satisfied

Man, I hate that you couldn' t use the $6 cash rewards on the Novartis items to roll them! Well, you could buy the novartis items, but the 2 -$6 cash rewards due from your current purchase wouldn't print out. My coupons didn't have a restriction on them, but the computer did. Very annoying, esp since last year we had so much fun w/ Triaminic deal rolling. I haven't done many Walgreen's deals the past several months, so maybe this how they are now.
