When I was pg with #1, my midwife advised me not to go on waterpark slides, but said that an amusement park was OK. (I was about 3-4 months at the time.) With this pregnancy, I inquired again about waterparks, and she said that there are just certain slides/rides to avoid.
I would have thought that waterparks were OK, since they are calm and (so I thought) harmless, and that pg women should avoid amusement park rides. What's the deal with waterparks?
