Default We finally picked out names....

Since the u/s is so close we sat down and thought of names...

Boy-- Lehland Matthew *the H is silent*

Girl-- Teri Priscilla

My husband's name is Terry Alonzo JR, and we weren't all to big on making a 3rd. But we did like the Idea for a girls name. So what do you guys think?

I like them both, but think Lehland will spend the rest of his life correcting people on the spelling and pronounciation of his name. Why not just use Leland?

Yeah. =) I was going to do it the other way, Leland, but liked it with the H better. I know it's gonna be corrected all the time, but I already have that problem with DD. Her name is Alexandria, but everyone wants to call or spell it Alexandra...

22 more days til we find out and I so can't wait!

Thanks guys!

I have that problem with Alexandria too. Can't even begin to count how many times I've been called Alexandra in my life. Hence, I go by Ally haha! (Which gets spelt Allie more often than not.)

I'm so glad to know that other people have that problem. *lol* We shortened her's to Alex or Ally. Depends on who's around... Cause I've gone by Alley since I was a kid too. Mine's short of Alison though, and yes I've always had it misspelled with 2 L's.

I've spent my entire life helping people say my name -- how hard is it to say Annamae? However, people look too fast and say Anne Marie, etc. I got over it because once people learn it, it tends to stick out and they don't make the mistake anymore!

DD has the issue of having a German name that wasn't Anglicized, so she'll have to pronounce it (Heike -- hi-kah) for the first time when people see it.
