Well, my OB appt this afternoon went great! For starters, the dr that I was so concerned about having? -- LOVE him lol! He's got a great dry sense of humor, and I quote:
[Going through the medical history checklist]
"No diabetes?" "No." "No heart problems?" "No." "No bleeding problems?" "No." "Are you nuts?"
Me (laughing): "Well... that one's debatable!"
DH: "Can I answer that one?"
Dr (with a wink): "The husband always should..."
Comical lol.
Anyhow, after going thru the history and doing the routine checks (all of which were fine), we got to hear the heartbeat on doppler -- YAY!!!! we were soooo looking forward to that part!.
Dr's dry sense of humor again -- "Yup, that's a baby in there."
He calculated my EDD as being January 27th instead of the 30th going by my LMP, but that's pretty much a moot point -- while we were there, he called the case room and booked my c/s for January 22nd! That's less than three months away!!!!
So, the question now is, do I change my ticker to reflect my c/s date?
-- BTW, no problem to tell I'm excited... can you say overabundance of smileys? lol!
We have a date!!!
