After two and a half years of trying - three failed pregnancies (none past 5.5 weeks) - horrible doctors - and LOTS of prayers - We have decided to add another leaf to our family tree via adoption.
At first this idea scared us, naturally - but we have researched it enough to where we know what we'd be getting into - and we feel so good about it. We have friends and family who have adopted and we've seen nothing but blessings come from it.
My husband and I cannot wait to be parents - and it kills me every time I see him holding a little baby - I know he would give anything to be "daddy".
I'm here to give and receive support - but also, I'm here for networking. We are probably going to go through an agency - but we're also hoping we might be able to find a birth mom on our own. Either way - we are so anxious! If you know of anyone who is considering abortion or anyone looking for an adoptive family, please send them our way. We would love to give a sweet baby a fresh start on life - in a VERY loving, caring, and fun home.
Wonderful decision! I was adopted myself. It is a loving option. To give a baby a home who needs it is beyond love.
