This past weekend (Th-Sun) we were out of town for a family wedding in NC. I tried to bring enough of my stuff to supplement. I made my breakfast wrap daily, but it was misisng spinach. My eating schedule is still off, though. I didn't do too bad in the car. I pre-bagged my snack servings. At Sonny's bbq, I had the salad bar (LOVE their salad bar) w/ meat. Except for the Fri family dinner and wedding meal, we ate in when at the cabin. The wedding meal had lots of healthier stuff.
But the big temptation both big meals.....the cake..... Well Friday night, BIL (who's lost @ 100plus lbs) commented, "Mary's being really good, not eating her cake." Now I could've just acted like I was being good for goodness sake....but I was honest. I don't like whipped topping cakes. I only eat the cake part to dilute the icing. I definitely would've been bad if there was buttercreme. Sat came. I was good at the dinner filling up on low fat meats and veggies in anticipation.......whipped topping wedding cake again!! DS ate cake Friday night. But even he wouldn't touch his whipped icing cake the second night. "Not again!"
Man.....I was so looking forward to being very, VERY bad. I travelled over 20 hrs and no buttercreme icing....

Even fondit would've been okay, since I'd never had it. I feel a bit cheated....Maybe I'll find a baby buttercreme cake on clearance soon at the store that ds and I can share.
