I have been feeling pretty sick for a few days now. Very run-down and EXTREMELY tired. My muscles have all been weak and achy. I figured i was getting the flu.

Last night when I climbed into bed I was FREEZING. To the point where i literally could not stop shaking. I finally had DH go get the thermometer and I of course, had a low grade fever. A little under 100. (My normal temp is 96.8, so that is actually on the higher side for me) I got out another blanket and buried myself under the covers.

I tossed and turned all night long. And finally at 2 am I woke up and was drenched in sweat. My back also started hurting really bad. It feels like I slept on it the wrong way. I took my temp again and it was almost 101. REALLY high for me. Thats like a 103 in normal people. I havent had a fever that high in a long time. I took some tylenol and managed to get back to sleep.

I woke up this morning, and no fever, but I am sooooo achy. I feel like i ran a marathon yesterday. My body doesnt want to do anything. I almost fell asleep in the shower. All i want to do i crawl back into my bed and sleep for 5 days.

The stomache pains are getting worse. They are kinda like cramps, and are very sharp in my lower abdomen. Also, it feels like something is swollen in my abdomen. Some kind of organ. Its on the right side and feels like its putting pressure on my back. It hurts!! It doesnt feel like a kidney stone, because I have had those before.


Any ideaS?? I was thinking mono, but i think your throat hurts with that. I have NO symptoms other then the fever and abdominal pains.

ive never had those before....ill look into it. All i know is im FREEZING again! ugh....and we are going to the farm fair today. I promised Jae, so off I go

my dh was sick a couple of weekends ago, he had muscle aches, backpain, sooooo tired, tummy aches even nauseous. He also had a low fever. His throat hurt the day before, and he ended up with a really bad head cold to go with it!!!!!
He was soooooo sick that day with the aches and the backache we were concerned about menengitis. (Some people only get really tired and achy---that is their only symptom---my sister is an RN and has seen adults with it that had no typical symptoms!!)
But he was fine in a few days!...............try to get some rest! I know, not really going to happen, but try.

Is it possible it is your appendix? I know someone who had similar symptoms and it was appendicitis!! If you are still feeling this way or the fever returns I would go and get checked out..Is the right side sensitive/sore to touch? I hope that you feel better soon...

Im starting to worry about this....Its is pain on my right side, but it comes and goes. Its not constantly there. It is sore when i touch to the right of my belly button tho. Not super painful, just sore. Fever is still hanging around in the 99's-100's
The other new symptom (or one that I just realized anyway) is when I empty my bladder is when the pain is the worst. It sure doesnt feel like any UTI I have ever had, but I guess its a possibility? It doesnt hurt when I actually urinate, and it doesnt feel like I need to go more often which makes me think thats not a possibility.

Well since I can only sit here for 5 mins w/ feeling like im going to fall asleep on the keyboard im headed back to the couch

I think you should have it looked at to rule out appendix b/c you don't want them bursting!! I am no doctor or even a nurse but just going with things I've heard...better to be safe then sorry...My friend's son had this happen and he basically was just lazing around on the couch, feeling ill, fever..pain ON THE RIGHT SIDE and by the time they got him to emerg his appendix had burst...freakily they were in a strange position which in the long run saved his life....I don't want to scare you I just want you to be OK!! Please go to the ER....I know it sounds silly, but why take chances!!!!!!!
I hope you have already gone to the Dr......but if you haven't please go.

I may be soon....the pain in my back started turning into how it felt when i did have kidney stones. So the fever could be an infection or something in there, or the irritation from the stone. Also would make sense why it hurts after I urinate......ugh....i hate these things
